Villacidro, 10 December 2025 – In the rooms of the former Capuchin Convent in Quartu Sant’Elena, with the support of the Municipal Administration of Quartu Sant’Elena, the art exhibition “OLTREUOMO ” will be set up with the original works of some of the most prestigious exponents of the avant-garde: Renè MAGRITTE – Giorgio DE CHIRICO – Mario SIRONI, together with the complete collection of the “Intermezzi” by Max KLINGER, etchings from 1881. As with previous exhibitions, the Artistic Direction, supported by the Scientific Committee of the Magmma Museum, has involved in the project several selected artists from the Marchionni Prize: Alessandro Botti, Paride Di Stefano, Giuliano Giagheddu, Stefano Invernizzi, Rosy Mantovani, Carmina Moschella, Ivan Toninato, Alfredo Torsello, and Luca Vallotta, who will reinterpret the theme of Nietzsche’s “Superman” according to their own styles and artistic paths. It is an opportunity to engage with the great masters of the past and virtually rediscover the magical atmosphere of an atelier where the contemporary draws from the past to sublimate art in all its aspects. The opening is scheduled for Saturday, December 13th at 11:00 a.m. The exhibition will be open to the public daily until January 6, 2025.
